Real Mentors. Real Relationships. Real tools for navigating adolescence with confidence.
How Vescent Works
Vescent is more than an app. It’s a structured, technology-enabled prevention and support program designed to strengthen resilience before challenges escalate.
Through a guided program, girls participate in:
Short videos and interactive activities
Small-group discussions led by trained near-peer mentors
Our curriculum is grounded in evidence-based prevention programs, including content from our partner Sharpen, which focuses on mental health literacy and resilience skills
Evidence-based mental wellness and resilience content
Practical tools for managing stress, emotions, and social pressures.
Real Mentors. Real Relationships.
Every Vescent teen is supported by a college-aged female mentor studying psychology, counseling, social work, education, or a related field. Mentors are:

Carefully screened, trained, and background-checked

Assigned to small groups of 1-4 girls for meaningful, consistent connection

Supported and supervised by Vescent staff, including a psychology-trained Program Manager
This near-peer model fosters trust, relatability, and consistency – key factors in healthy adolescent development.
How We Measure Success
We don’t measure success by clicks or screen time.
Instead, we track real outcomes, including:

Healthier social media and AI user

Improved coping with negative online content

Increased confidence, resilience, and acceptance
Outcomes are measured through surveys, mentor observations, and longitudinal program data to ensure Vescent delivers meaningful, lasting impact.
